This system is installed in the
entrance to a new UK office compound and provides automatic access to
authorized cars. The records of the entry and exit are recorded. The
system automatically opens the gate for vehicles that match the
authorized list. A large outdoor display greets the vehicles (as seen
behind the gate).

This system part of a toll road system
in South Africa. The license plate is read and used as a key to fetch
the vehicle information from the toll database. The information is
compared to a swipe card which is used by the driver. This integrated
system reduces fraud and increases the toll income.

The toll system is based on a
multi-lane (SeeLane) system which reads and verifies the plate data and
sends a message to the toll control application. This application uses
the recognition information to obtain the vehicle data, which is matched
to the swipe card information. The results are displayed to the operator
and also sent to the control room for further processing of the frauds,
and long-term data logging.

Additional toll roads have been installed, such as:
-
the
Las Palmas toll road in Rionegro
in Colombia (as seen on the thumbnail on the right). The
purpose of this system is to report the plate number and the type of the
vehicle (using additional sensors) to the toll road server. The
information is used to match to a black-list and alert on drivers with
outstanding charges, to monitor the traffic in real time, and also to
calculate the road's traffic flow.

This system is installed in hundreds
of border crossing lanes around the border of a European Country, and
performs automated monitoring of the vehicles and the persons entering
or exiting the Country.

The plate number is read by the
LPR system and verified by the operator. The passport data is also
read (by another system) which also authenticates the document. A
second camera stores the full view of the vehicle. This information
is transmitted and stored on a central database. This database is
later used to track all entries or exits to the Country, to track
stolen cars and other purposes.
The system also significantly improves the flow of the traffic at
the crossing checkpoints. The entire crossing operation cycle time
was reduced from several minutes to several seconds per vehicle.

The system is installed in the
entrances and exits of a parking lot. The system automatically opens the
gate for season parking (prepaid members) and calculates the parking fee
for visitors. The plate string is used as a key to automatically
calculate the parking fee based on the time difference between exit and
entry.

The system is based on a multi-lane
(SeeLane) system which sends the recognition messages to the parking
control application. This application, developed and integrated by the
local Singapore Company, handles all the parking lot activities and
keeps a record (image and information) of all transactions.

The system is installed in the
entrances of long-term airport parking lots. The system records the
plate number and associates it with the ticket number. When the car
exits the lot, the ticket number is linked to the car number, thus
verifying that the ticket is indeed the same as issued while entering.
This system reduces fraud and handles cases of missing tickets, a common
problem in airports.

The system is based on a multi-lane
(SeeLane) system which runs as a background application and sends the
recognition messages to the airport parking control application. This
application, developed and integrated by a US parking Company, keeps a
history of the entries (image and information) and also controls the
payment at the cashier booth.
