Download Recognition Demo

We invite you to download one or more of our recognition software demo programs. These sample applications demonstrate the powerful capabilities of our recognition systems. Each demo contains several typical images and the recognition software. The software is a static-link version, and performs true recognition at real time. For download and execution instructions, see description below.

PC with a minimum of 64MB RAM running Windows 98/NT/2000. Win 95 is not supported on new Demo releases and might result in run-time errors.

Download Instructions:

The application files are ZIPped. You should first download the ZIP file, saving the file to a directory. Then, extract the file (using Winzip) into a subdirectory. Note: If you do not have Winzip, please download the unzip tool.

Be sure that you activate the application only after extracting the files to a subdirectory.

To execute the demo, activate the extracted .exe file. The demo loads and displays each of the images, performs actual number plate recognition, and displays the result on the player display. The identified code is displayed at the bottom window. The history of these identifications, the file processed by the player, and the actual time required to identify the image are shown in the right window. You can change the speed of the operation.

An animation of a sample demo is shown below. The recognition demo "player" is shown running a set of images, opening each image to obtain the image data, extracting the recognition string and displaying its result and the recognition information.

The following sections contain available recognition demo players. They are grouped by the product lines: LPR (SeeCar) and CCR (SeeContainer).

License plates standards are country-specific. We have prepared different demos for many world-wide adaptations. Recognition demos from other Countries are available or can be prepared.

A simulation of the SeeLane application is also available. You can download this simulation and learn how to set, operate and interface with the application. Note that the simulation does not perform actual recognition as the above demo players.

Container Markings are based on an International standard, so there are no Country specific demos (as in the SeeCar players above), rather a Worldwide Container recognition player. However, there are additional recognition players in the following table - a Chassis recognition (for USA containers) and Crane Container recognition.
